HardTune, also known as auto-tuning, is a popular effect (maybe a bit too popular!). With other products you need to set a key to make it sound musical. Not with VoiceTone Synth - plug in a guitar and it will track your guitar chords for instant pitch corrected vocals without having to tap-dance while setting key and scale. www.tc-helicon.com

Here is the monster guitarist Blues Saraceno at the Big City Music booth on Saturday at NAMM. He's playing his Les Paul into the Analogue Systems rs35 External Source Processor module, which is a pitch to voltage (1 volt per octave) module. The rs35 is triggering a pair of rs95 voltage controlled oscillators, which are then processed through several other AS modules. The final sound is coming from the tiny 5" Yamaha speaker which was mic'd with a handheld SM-57.
